I am English teacher with eighteen years experience teaching both Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert English at both higher and ordinary level.
I have a BA Hons Degree in English from the University of Ulster, an MA in Journalism from NUI Galway and Professional Diploma in Education from Hibernia College.
I am also an SEC examiner, correcting Leaving Cert Higher Level English exams.
This website aims to give simple tips and advice on how to improve your English grade at both Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert. There are scene by scene summaries of plays and novels, sample answers in Shakespeare, personal essays and speeches and video notes on poetry.
Content is added regularly and I hope it is of use to students studying English from first to sixth year.
